Hernia

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has greatly improved my well-being and taught me how to be healthier in my seventies. One example: after observing a 0.5 by 1 inch diameter bulge (left-side middle of groin), my medical doctor and a surgeon recommended closing the opening of the intestinal wall by stitching; confident in Dr Law, I asked her to enable healing; she used acupuncture to treat my hernia, 3 months later, my MD agreed that the hernia was healed, and I cancelled my surgery plan; I continued to use a girdle when running/lifting to prevent re-injury; about 7 months later I had a similar hernia (after 3 hours of rigorous exercise without a girdle); again it was healed by acupuncture without surgery. Now three years later the groin is still strong and healthy due to Helen’s acupuncture. I am very thankful she helped me avoid the knife.
